Husband’s Achievement in Horse Racing

In 2003, at the age of 50, Husbands led Wando to victory in all three races of the Canadian Triple Crown. This impressive feat was accomplished under the ownership of Gustav Schickedanz and the training of Mike Keogh. Notably, Wando, Schickedanz, and Keogh were all inducted into the Hall of Fame before Husbands.

[Husbands](#), a resident of Brampton, Ontario, has claimed victory in the prestigious $1-million King’s Plate three times and has been honored as the top rider in Canada on seven occasions. With an impressive career total of 3,632 wins and still counting, Husbands has solidified his status as a highly decorated jockey in the horse racing industry.

Driver Sylvain Filion, from Angers, Quebec, leads the group of standardbred inductees. In October of last year, Filion achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first driver based in Canada to achieve 10,000 career victories in harness racing.
